From
everyday treasures to elegant baubles, you never know what
you might find when you open up a custom card from Itty
Bitty Company. Starting out in 2002 in the attic of a southwest
Georgia commercial printing company, the Itty Bitty card
phenomenon began as a part-time endeavor of friends May
Gillespie and Jennifer Bekkers. Both busy mothers, the two
found time to partner their creativity and expertise in
printing and art to fashion one-of-a-kind invitations and
announcements. The fun, totally unique creations delighted
customers from the start and in a matter of months Itty
Bitty Company grew from local fascination to nationwide
success. Just one year after they introduced their doodad-inspired
originals to the imprintables market, Itty Bitty cards could
be found in six showrooms in the United States and supported
sixty road representatives. Today, Itty Bitty showcases
over 200 designs in stores throughout the country, from
Hawaii to Puerto Rico, and continues to flourish.
Not surprisingly, the Itty Bitty family quickly outgrew
its attic roots, moving its hand picked collection of thousands
of embellishments not far down the road to a cozy cottage
backed by a new 2,000 sq. ft. warehouse. It’s here
you’ll find their thriving family bagging sand, cutting
ribbon and counting rhinestones, not to mention coming up
with new ideas to feed their ever-growing collection of
cards seasonal and year-round cards.
Their name may be small, but their passion is anything but.
With the motto to go wherever their imagination takes them,
Itty Bitty Company will continue to weave whimsical, wonderful
and even wacky creations inspired to invite, delight and
tickle the fancy of customers everywhere.
